okay, first of all….ugh…i joined twitter….i couldn’t even tell you what my handle (name? tag? idk..) is. i am following oprah, justin timberlake, and katy perry to name a few. why? WHY?! i don’t know…honestly…*sigh*…i don’t even know. peer pressure.
in other news! this weekend was PACKED but awesome. we did some house planning (well..more like dreaming…well..more like paul looking up things that will one day be helpful, such as, “hey do we want an outlet in our pantry?”…and i just give my opinion, “i have no clue..”)…we also got to babysit our super cute small group kiddos (no pictures bc i am a loser) and i made a BUTT LOAD of food. and that’s literal as well as figurative because it was all very good for you and therefore poop-inducing. just like it should be.
the cooking was inspired by the GREAT new blog i stumbled upon (via pinterest! see pauly!? there’s another reason i need to be scouring that sight at 1am! it feeds you, dang it!! you’re welcome!!) ….the blog is called my ‘my new roots’ and it.is. FAB. and a half. you can check it out here. two of the three recipes i made this weekend are from this (tweaked of course ) i really can’t say enough good stuff about this blog and this girl sarah. she’s really inspiring and it got me back on the path of all things good for my bod. (insert angelic chorus: here.)
AND! our friend (who is really like family) danielle came into town for a WEEK WHOOP! and we can’t get enough of her! (no pics…again….see above ‘loser’ situation…) but she’s a hoot and a half and we just love her to reese’s pieces.
ready for another week??! yeah. me either. but at least it’s been AWE-SOME outside lately and we have a bunch of fun stuff coming up this week, so LET’S DO THIS!
