nanny life

so..i am really going to try to post more this summer….there is really no excuse for me not to, let’s be honest…… and this week is especially easy, as my nanny family is at camp all week–so no work!

this summer i am taking a break from teaching, and have decided to nanny for a family here in saint paul 3 days a week. it. has. been. awesome. the kiddos are amazing. one boy (3rd grade) and one girl (2nd grade). they are in a TON of activities, most involving time at their country club, and they get along like bff’s. it’s really fun to watch them and i think this is going to be a great summer!

oh! and i am going to try to post more cute little conversational moments as well! like this one:

girl: (reading from her new library book) “okay, ms. leah…what is the fastest animal on the planet? A) Cheetah B) Jaguar C) Elephant or D) All of the above…..which i am pretty sure just means every type of bird…..”

hahahahaha! oh how i love her!

yay for summer and actually having nice weather!! a girl could get used to this…….

this is where i spend the majority of my days...and get paid for it...not. too. shabby.

waffles. according to these kids. every square must be filled with 'i can't believe it's not butter.' more like 'i can't believe there's a waffle under here..'
